It is a good idea for us to meet you at the property you are planning to build on if you have it selected already. There are times when, because of the formation of the land, the design of the home is affected. If we know these things early enough in the process we can make recommendations on the design so you can still get the floor plan you want. However, even if you haven't chosen your property yet we will gladly meet with you and begin discussing ideas for your home.
Also, if you are planning to borrow money to build your new home it is a good idea to talk to a lender early in the process and they can “prequalify” you to see how much money will be available to you once we are ready to start.
