You should find building your own log home a positive experience. As with building any home there will be a number of steps you will need to take to complete it. Here are some of the steps we will assist you with. Please read through the following information and then click on the steps as they appear.
Getting Started
Now that you have decided that you want to build your own log home and that you have the tools and the labor resources to complete the project like we talked about on the Building Your Home With A MLH Kit page, you will need to decide whether you want to purchase your logs random length or whether you want us to provide you with a pre-cut log package that is labeled and has a color coded blueprint that corresponds with it. We would be happy to discuss the benefits of either option. Once you have decided this we are ready to move to the Design phase.
